Purchase, Installation and Registration Questions

What is the Registration Number and where can I find it?

The registration number is a special code that is unique to your machine. By sending us the registration number, we can generate you a licence key to unlock the demo to the full version of AnteUp!
You can find the registration number on the bottom left hand corner of the splash screen (The screen that appears when you first start the program) or on the about screen (Help menu -> About)

How soon will I get my unlock code after purchasing the software

If you purchase our software using our credit/debit card option, which is processed through ShareIT.com, then you should receive your licence key within a few minutes of your card being processed. Sometimes this process can take a little longer, so allow 48 hours before contacting ShareIT or ourselves.
If you purchase using Paypal then we aim to get your licence key to you within 48 hours, but this can take a little longer if we receive your order on a Friday evening (for example).
If you purchase by sending us a cheque then we will send you your unlock code once the cheque has cleared - please allow at least 7 days from posting your cheque to receive your licence key.

How much space does AnteUp! require on my hard disk?

AnteUp! is a very small installation, and typically requires less than 8MB of hard disk space, including the system files it needs.

Can I install the program on more than 1 machine?

No. When you purchase an AnteUp! licence you are purchasing it for a set machine. If you wish to run AnteUp! on more than one machine you must buy another licence.

I'm getting a message saying my Trial Version has expired - why?

If you haven't registered AnteUp! yet then you have reached the end of your trial period and need to register. Click here to visit the order page.

If you have a full licenced copy then something may have changed on your PC to upset our licencing software. Please try re-entering your original licence key and user name. If this does not work, please email us and send us your 'Registration Number' (you can find this on the bottom left hand side of the 'Trial Version' splash screen). We will generate you a new licence key.

Program Use Questions

How do I make the speech functions work?

For speech to work, you need to have Microsoft's Speech API (SAPI) Version 5 installed on your machine. This is installed as standard on Windows XP, but is not installed as standard on Windows 98/Me/2000.
To install SAPI, please download one of these files:

Website Questions

How do I upload my blind files or background images for other users to access?

In the right hand navigation menu, select the Downloads > Background Images menu item.
Once this opens up you'll see another menu option appear that says 'Upload a background'.
Select this item.
On the page that appears, click the 'Send us your backgrounds' link.

Now you'll see a form to fill in. In the title field, add the name of your background or blind structure, select the content you're uploading in the 'Content Type' box and enter some descriptive details for the users in the 'Body' box.
Leave the 'Title' and 'Description' boxes of the attachments section blank and press the 'Browse' button to look for your file on the hard disc.
When you've found your file, press the 'Add' button and then press the page 'Submit' button to upload your blinds/backgrounds into the system.

If I upgrade my PC can I still use AnteUp?

Yes, of course. You may have to request a new registration key from us, depending on what has changed inside your PC. If you cannot register your software after re-installation, please contact us and we will advise you how to proceed.
